WHAT IS THE FREIGHT EQUALISATION PROCEDURE?

The freight equalisation procedure - FAV for short - offers simplified payment processing in rail freight transport in cooperation with partners such as DB Cargo. By taking over the entire receivables management, we relieve our partners and participating customers in the FAV of administrative tasks and enable more efficient business management. The FAV automates the payment flow and at the same time offers transparency and control over all financial transactions.

Your role as a company in the freight equalisation process

1. Your company commissions DB Cargo AG, for example, to transport goods by rail.

2. LOGPAY purchases the resulting receivable and immediately settles it with DB Cargo AG on your behalf.

3. LOGPAY conveniently debits the invoice due to you in accordance with the payment terms agreed with you.

What role does the Money Laundering Act play?

As a payment service provider supervised by BaFin in the FAV, LOGPAY takes compliance with the Money Laundering Act very seriously.

This obligation means that we must check your company data at regular intervals. If necessary, we will therefore contact you to update the required information. Your active support in this process is essential to ensure the security and integrity of all transactions.

In this way, we ensure that your payments are not only supervised but also protected against unauthorised access.
